“Jeremiah Terminator LeRoy” to Close Toronto International Film Festival

Diane’s upcoming film, Jeremiah Terminator LeRoy is slated to make it’s world premiere at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival.

The movie, which will close out the festival, is based on the true story of Laura Albert, a writer who created the fictional persona of a young gay man named JT Leroy and wrote novels under that name. She then employed her boyfriend’s sister Savannah Knoop to portray JT in public. The story was told in a 2016 documentary, and the narrative feature is based on a memoir by Ms. Knoop. Justin Kelly directs the film, featuring Laura Dern, Kristen Stewart and Diane Kruger.
